AN ORGANIC SPACE FOR THOSE THAT VALUE THE SMALL MOMENTS.

I love photographing my client’s biggest moments in a way that captures the emotions and feelings of your life.
Here’s how I do that...
Great imagery starts with trust and comfortability. Throughout the entire process from inquiry to final gallery delivery, I’ll become your new favorite third wheel. We talk about EVERYTHING regarding your wedding day (and anything else you want to talk about because, let’s face it, we are together in this adventure). I lean on trust, not stiff posing, because the most beautiful images happen when you and your partner are relaxed.
The connection we build with each other prepares us to go into your day knowing exactly what’s happening, when, and what we are doing (or if plan D has to make an entrance because we are always prepared over here). Your wedding is a day you are going to reminisce back on for the rest of your life, and it’s my job to document with you.
When choosing a photographer, it’s essential to choose a photographer and friend that you want there when you tie the knot, sign the paperwork, and eat the cake. So, if heartfelt moments, genuine connection, and timeless storytelling feel like home to you, you’re in the right place.

What is one thing that I want someone to ask me, but no one ever does?
What makes me do art and choose to use photography of/for people as my work?
I tried so many different forms of art until I found photography. At first, it was just taking photos of pretty plants and things because those made me happy; but once I figured out that I should probably include people in my portfolio for art school, I started to look at it differently. I love old photographs of people that I've never met and handwritten post cards from the antique store. It's a very uniquely human trait to want to pass down who we are and I want to remember those people in their handwriting, in their portraits of their children, in their home movies, and throughout their lives. Creating art through photographing people is a way to be remembered and to remember others.
For a long time, I described my work as preserving memories, a phrase that’s easy to reach for and often repeated in photography spaces. But I’ve come to realize that what I care about more is conservation, not preservation.
Preservation implies keeping something untouched, pristine, and carefully set aside. Conservation, on the other hand, allows memories to live, change, and remain accessible over time. I don’t want moments to sit on a shelf, perfectly packaged and rarely revisited. I want them to be returned to, learned from, and carried forward. I use photography as a way to ensure memories have long-term availability, so they can continue to hold meaning, spark reflection, and grow with you as life unfolds.
MY VALUES
AND HOW I ALWAYS SHOW UP FOR MY CLIENTS
Connection over Perfection →
The little in-between moments—the way your partner looks at you, the laughter that makes your cheeks hurt—are always more beautiful than a stiff pose.
Inclusivity Always →
I’m proud to be an LGBTQ+ affirming wedding photographer. Every love story is welcome here and every body should have the space to be themselves.
Love in Every Frame →
Your photos are heirlooms, created not just for today but for future generations who will look back at how it all began.
Joy over Poses →
Your wedding day should feel natural, not staged. When joy leads the way, your photos reflect the real emotions that make your life unforgettable.
Care Always →
I am consistently prepared, attentive, and fully present so you feel supported every step of the way through our time together and even after.
Freedom in Every Frame →
You deserve to be yourselves and unapologetically in love. My approach gives you the freedom to relax, soak in the moment, and trust that you and yours are safe with me.
Your South Carolina and Destination Wedding Photographer is Sydney Rose.
If you’ve scrolled down here, it means you probably want to know more about me, the woman behind the lens and the business. Well, hi! My name is Sydney! Rose is my middle name and my family has been calling me by both since I was really little, so it just fits for my business! I started my photography career in high school, but didn’t really take it seriously until undergrad at Clemson. I scored an amazing internship with the Marketing and Communications team and just never looked back.
Through that internship, I was able to do a lot of really cool things for the University; but then, as one does, I graduated. And then covid hit. . . so I started a masters program in Plant and Environmental Sciences 🌱. Around that time, I started my business and now here we are! I actually got the photographer job with the same team from Clemson when I graduated and still work here (I’m also in charge of the interns now! Like, whoa!). If you don’t see me at a wedding, chances are that I am somewhere on campus photographing an event or the president!
