A Wedding Experience Built on Presence

I believe in capturing genuine connection, timeless details, and the quiet, in-between moments that make your story yours. My approach blends a documentary style with an artistic perspective, allowing your day to unfold naturally while creating images that feel honest, enduring, and true to you.

Choosing a photographer isn’t just about finding someone to take photos. It’s about choosing the person who will stand closest to you during some of the most meaningful moments of your life, guide you through them, and be trusted to keep space for your love. The person you choose will shape not only how your day is documented, but how it’s experienced and remembered long after it’s over.

Whether you’re planning a national park wedding in the Smoky Mountains, an intimate bridal session, or an elopement in downtown Greenville, my goal is to create a relaxed, supportive experience where you can fully be yourselves. I’m there to help things feel easy, to adapt when plans shift, and to quietly notice the moments you might not even realize are happening.

This is your story. Let’s document it in a way that feels true, and enjoy the process along the way.

Don’t just take my word for it!

“There are truly not enough words to express how excellent Sydney is! She photographed my engagement shoot, bridal portraits, and wedding and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else! Her photos and styling really captured the joy my husband and I felt on all of those days. She also was such a wonderful cheerleader and overall helper during the wedding. She even bustled my dress like 3 times haha! Having her photos and presence was such a wonderful part of my wedding. Stop looking for a photographer because she’s literally the best!!!”

TRAVEL, BOOKED, DELIVERED, IM YOURS.

Engagement sessions will be delivered in an online gallery within three weeks of your shoot, and weddings will be delivered the same way within eight weeks of your wedding day!

Does this sound like what you’re looking for? If so, shoot me an email and we can get this ball rolling! The next step is a video call where we can meet one another, ask any questions that you have, and get a sense of the vibes. Don’t forget to connect on Instagram, Facebook, and the Resources page for more behind the scenes and information on planning your wedding day!

I love to travel and will go wherever I need to in order to tell your story! Contact me with your details and we can hash everything out! Travel fees typically include gas, accommodations, car rentals and flights if needed.

If you decide that we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a contract and an invoice which we can finish electronically. Once that’s done, we are good to go! The deposit is part of your total package, and the rest of your payment is due at least two. weeks before the wedding, but payment plans are available if you want/need one!

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers.

Why do you require a non-refundable deposit?
The nonrefundable deposit is for you to know that I will not book anyone over you, and that time slot is 100% yours.

Where should I get prints of the final images?
I have a print shop connected to your gallery link and highly recommend that you go through my shop for your prints. If you go through Walgreens or Walmart, I cannot guarantee the quality and color correction as I can through my printer.

How important is a timeline to my wedding day?
A timeline is one of the most important part of a wedding day, even if it just says what time you’re getting married and when dinner is served. Timelines are great to have so that everyone involved knows what’s happening and where. If you need any help with your timeline, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, let me know! I’d be happy to help!

Do you require us to have a wedding coordinator?
I don’t require you to have a coordinator, but I do highly suggest them! At least having a day-of coordinator allows you to be relaxed and leave all of the set up and any pop up issues to someone else on your biggest day.

Do you charge travel fees?
Travel fees are vital for me if we are planning on heading somewhere out of the 30 mile radius from my home base of Clemson, SC. These fees cover my travel, potential lodging and car rentals.

While I try to keep my travel costs as low as possible, the package price may end up being a bit higher so I can get out to you. Travel fees depend on when and where you are getting married, as prices typically fluctuate based on those factors. These fees are based on the average travel costs at the time of booking. A few examples of things included in travel costs are flights, lodging, rental car, etc. One more variable that is covered by travel fees for weddings that are further away is my time. By this, I mean my time away from home and family. This also represents the time on my schedule that is being reserved for your special day and not for a different wedding that may be more local. Unfortunately, if I did not charge travel fees, it would not be sustainable for me to travel around. I am so grateful that you are interested in having me travel to you, so I hope this clears up any questions you have. As always if you have further questions, I am an open book!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM HERE

  1. We’ll connect over a relaxed video call (or coffee!). We’ll talk all about your vision, the vibe you’re going for, your must-haves, and any logistics we should consider. This is your chance to feel things out, ask questions, and see if it feels right on both ends. I’ve found that connection, artistically and personally, is a huge part of creating magic together, so this is just a fun way to get to know each other a little better.

  2. If we’re all feeling good after the call, I’ll send a follow-up email recapping everything we talked about. From there, we’ll either tweak things as needed or head straight into booking.

  3. You’ll receive your electronic contract + invoice; and to officially secure your date, a 30% nonrefundable retainer and signatures from both you and your partner will be needed.

  4. Then you’re all set!!! You better believe that I will be over here celebrating right alongside you every step of the way!
