Elopements &
Intimate Weddings

INTIMATE
WEDDINGS

Origin: An intimate wedding is typically a “normal” wedding day with a smaller guest list. In lieu of the giant banquet hall and generic chicken + potatoes meal, you’ll most likely opt for a smaller location and a guest list of maybe one or two-dozen people. I love more intimate wedding days because you have a bit more flexibility to spend your budget on exactly what YOU want with slightly more traditional elements.

In our case: When you celebrate your nuptials and pledge your love to your partner with those that are closest to you.

Person count: <50.

Love count: >all the moons and all the stars.

ELOPEMENTS

Origin: The earliest sense of elope was “escape” or “flee,” and one might argue that this is somehow connected to the way people are now sometimes using it in the context of weddings. Except that this definition does not mean "escape" as in "let’s escape from it all," but rather "let’s grab the keys from the orderly and make a break for it!" The etymology of elope matches this sense, as the word comes from the Anglo-French aloper, meaning “to abduct, run away."

In our case: Elopements are when you and your partner run away to your favorite place to get forever hitched to your favorite person and do whatever pleases you on YOUR day.

Person count: <10.

Love count: >infinity.

Fig 3. Shelby & Rob had the coolest first look of all time out in Montana.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer Sydney is your girl! She was professional and communicative throughout the entire booking/planning process. On the day of our wedding she worked with our timeline and our venue's photography requirements to capture beautiful shots. My husband and I were blown away by her ability to capture the pure emotion of our wedding day! Sydney delivered our photos to us efficiently and provided simple ways for us to preserve our wedding memories forever! I cannot say enough good things about our experience!

HOW TO BOOK

LET’S CONNECT

A. Inquire

Do you feel like we’d make a perfect match? Fill out my inquiry form & let’s get connected.

B. Introductions

I’ll email you back with my pricing guide to look over. Then we’ll set up a zoom call to chat through the package you’d like to book and answer any questions you may have.

C. Make it Official

Once we’ve agreed which package is best suited to serve you on your big day I’ll send over the contract and deposit invoice to secure your date and make things official!

You’ve got questions? I’ve got answers.

Why do you require a non-refundable deposit?
The nonrefundable deposit is for you to know that I will not book anyone over you, and that time slot is 100% yours.

Where should I get prints of the final images?
I have a print shop connected to your gallery link and highly recommend that you go through my shop for your prints. If you go through Walgreens or Walmart, I cannot guarantee the quality and color correction as I can through my printer.

How important is a timeline to my wedding day?
A timeline is one of the most important part of a wedding day, even if it just says what time you’re getting married and when dinner is served. Timelines are great to have so that everyone involved knows what’s happening and where. If you need any help with your timeline, or just someone to bounce ideas off of, let me know! I’d be happy to help!

Do you require us to have a wedding coordinator?
I don’t require you to have a coordinator, but I do highly suggest them! At least having a day-of coordinator allows you to be relaxed and leave all of the set up and any pop up issues to someone else on your biggest day.

Do you charge travel fees?
Travel fees are vital for me if we are planning on heading somewhere out of the 45 mile radius from my home base of Clemson, SC. These fees cover my travel, potential lodging and car rentals.

While I try to keep my travel costs as low as possible, the package price may end up being a bit higher so I can get out to you. Travel fees depend on when and where you are getting married, as prices typically fluctuate based on those factors. These fees are based on the average travel costs at the time of booking. A few examples of things included in travel costs are flights, lodging, rental car, etc. One more variable that is covered by travel fees for weddings that are further away is my time. By this, I mean my time away from home and family. This also represents the time on my schedule that is being reserved for your special day and not for a different wedding that may be more local. Unfortunately, if I did not charge travel fees, it would not be sustainable for me to travel around. I am so grateful that you are interested in having me travel to you, so I hope this clears up any questions you have. As always if you have further questions, I am an open book!
