CAPTURING THE WARMTH & TRUTH OF YOUR MOMENTS.

MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER

Fig 7. I am a huge plant nerd. At one point, I had 87 plants in my tiny apartment.

I love photographing my client’s biggest moments in a way that captures the real nature and emotions of your life.

Here’s how I do that...

Great imagery starts with trust and comfortability. Throughout the entire process from inquiry to final gallery delivery, I’ll become your new favorite third wheel. We talk about EVERYTHING regarding your wedding day (and anything else you want to talk about because, let’s face it, we are together in this adventure.)

The connection we build with each other prepares us to go into your day knowing exactly what’s happening, when, and what we are doing or if plan D has to make an entrance. Your wedding is a day you are going to reminisce back on for the rest of your life, and it’s my job to capture all of the best moments.

When choosing a photographer, it’s essential to choose a photographer and friend that you want there when you tie the knot, sign the paperwork, and eat the cake.

MY RULES

HOW I ALWAYS SHOW UP MY BEST FOR CLIENTS

Be Prepared: My camera bag (and car) is filled with odd and ends that make my job and your day easier. I always have a spare clear umbrella for if rain, wet wipes and clorox to-go wipes for champagne sprays, chandelier crystals to add a little spice, lotion for ashy knees, bobby and safety pins to make sure your pearls are at the right length, and a crochet hook for putting on tiny dress buttons. And those are just in my front seat!

Stay Flexible: There are always things that we can’t control, and having back up plans is just one way that we combat it. If you are planning a surprise proposal at Pretty Place at sunrise, and you can’t see their schedule more than a week in advance, you bet I have other options just in case. If the day comes and it is closed, there are 5 other spots close by with similar views where we can photograph your proposal. Should Pretty Place be THE place that you want to pop the question, then we find a new day and come up with the best excuse so your partner doesn’t get a hint that they’re getting proposed to later.

Eyes Always Open: This is the baby of the earlier two rules (his name is Sullivan). In order to be prepared and flexible, I have to keep my eyes open. I am constantly looking for the best light, the most interesting scenery, and the perfect spot to photograph your adoration of each other.
